Direct Sweets - Delivery Information

We pride ourselves on offering a fast, affordable, simple delivery service. We only use FedEx to deliver our orders. This is due to their outstanding reputation as being one of the best courier companies in the world. FedEx are not only one of the fastest delivery companies, they are also one of the safest. They take extra good care of your parcel to ensure that it arrives to your door in pristine condition.

We aim to despatch your order within 2-3 working days (we work Monday to Fridays!). Please note that we don't work on bank holidays so no orders will be despatched or delivered. Whilst we endeavour to get all orders packed and delivered as quickly as possible, sometimes it may take slightly longer than quoted during busy seasonal periods. We'll always let you know of any delays or shortages.

Our Delivery Process

  • We package your order to a high standard, doing our best to ensure no damages during transport.
  • We despatch your package and hand it over to the professional team at FedEx.
  • FedEx scan and add your parcel into their distribution system. You will now be able to track your parcel and see where it is!
  • FedEx will deliver your parcel the following working day after we despatch it!

Our Delivery Costs

We offer a structured delivery tariff on all mainland UK orders. Orders under £25 are charged £4.99 delivery. Orders between £25 and £75 are charged £3.99 delivery. All orders over £75 are delivered FREE of charge. All orders outside of mainland UK will incur additional delivery charges, set by FedEx. These will be presented during the checkout stages.

We do deliver worldwide so please contact us for a quote if you are interested and we'll be happy to assist you further.

Important Delivery Information

It is your responsibility to be in when your order is due to be delivered. We always recommended to arrange to have your order delivered to an address where someone will be there to sign for it, such as a work address. We send a unique tracking numbers with your order, which enables you to find detailed information as to when your parcel will be delivered.

FedEx will leave a calling card if they are unable to deliver your parcel. Please follow the instructions on the card and contact your local depot to rearrange delivery/collection within 2-3 working days. If arrangements for delivery are not completed within this time frame, your parcel will be returned back to Direct Sweets. This will incur a further delivery charge if you wish to have the parcel resent.

Please note that FedEx don't use refrigerated, chilled transport when delivering items so bear this in mind when ordering chocolate during the summer months. We cannot accept responsibility for items melting during transit.
